Biography

Sophia grew up in San Diego, CA. She is a 4th year undergraduate at UCSB pursuing a bachelors degree in chemistry and a minor in earth science. She joined the Hayton lab in September 2019. Her hobbies include horseback riding, rock climbing, and kayaking.

Research Area

Sophia is exploring the synthesis and reactivity of NO Dismutase model complexes.
