Biography

Gregg quickly realized chemistry was his passion after joining Dr. Weiming Wu's group at San Francisco State University, where his project involved the synthesis of 6-halouridine derivatives. Being a Southern California native, Gregg decided to stay here for his graduate studies. Gregg enjoys, sailing, surfing, traveling, and pretty much any other outdoor activity.

Research Area

Gregg is currently working on the trans/cis isomerization of the uranyl ion, as well as the synthesis of novel actinide complexes for the understanding of 5f orbital covalency.
