This course is intended to provide an introduction to some of the modeling and simulation techniques that are used in biophysics and biochemistry. The lecture portion of the course will include discussions of theoretical background while the laboratory exercises are intended to provide practical experience in using contemporary software packages to carry out representative calculations. It is expected that students enrolled will have had experience using personal computers for word processing and web searching.
