Biography

Originally from Jacksonville, FL, Alex pursued his undergraduate degree at UF in chemistry, working under Dr. Lisa McElwee-White on tungsten nitrido complexes as CVD precursors. Alex enjoys cycling, travel, cooking, listening to music, and reading in his spare time.

Research Area

Alex is working towards the bottom-up synthesis of group 8 and group 9 metal nanoclusters.
