Biography

Thien grew up in Livermore, CA and completed his undergraduate degree at UC Davis in 2019.  His research at UC Davis was under the supervision of Dr. Philip Power, working on the synthesis of transition metal oxo complexes.  Thien enjoys playing tennis and gaming.

Research Area

Thien is working on the synthesis and characterization of complexes containing uranium-carbon multiple bonds.
