Biography

Daniel is an undergraduate student from the University of Texas at El Paso, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry; he will be graduating in May 2017. At UTEP, he works under Dr. Luis Echegoyen in the synthesis of uranium endohedral metallofullerenes. Daniel joined the Hayton Lab as a student in the FLAM program in summer 2016. His mentor is Peter Damon.

Research Area

Daniel is working on the synthesis and characterization of Pd and Pt ketimide complexes.
