Biography

Sheila grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and completed their undergraduate degree at UC Davis in 2018. Their research at UC Davis under Dr. Louise Berben focused on synthesis of redox-active aluminum complexes. In their free time, Sheila enjoys gardening, cooking, and volunteering in Isla Vista.

Research Area

Sheila is working on the synthesis of homoleptic uranium(V) pnictogenides and chalcogenides for spectroscopic analysis.
