Biography

Born and raised in Chihuahua, Mexico, Miguel completed his undergraduate degree in the border city of El Paso, TX. His research at UTEP was under the supervision of Dr. Skye Fortier, working on low-valent Ti chemistry. Miguel enjoys playing racquetball, tennis, and running.

Research Area

Miguel is working on the synthesis and characterization of late metal-chalcogenide multiple bonds that are capable of small molecule activation.
