My general interest is understanding fundamental properties of biological molecules, such as zwitterion formation of peptides in the presence or absence of solvent molecules; energetics and dynamics of peptide conformations ("protein folding") with and without solvent; and thermochemistry of solvation and aggregation of biomolecules. Both experiment and theory are used to investigate the properties of biomolecules. |
